YES AND IT IS A NATIVE AMERICAN REMEDY THAT HAS WORKED FOR ME!AND I HAVE RAISED 5 KIDS,YOU PUT MAYONAISSE ON THEIR HEADS AND WRAP THEIR HEADS IN SOMETHING LIKE SARAN WRAP OR A BAG,OF COURSE MAKE SURE THEY DON'T COVER THEIR MOUTH AND NOSE,THIS SUFFOCATES THE LICE AND NITS LEAVE ON ABOUT 1 HOUR,IT IS HARD TO RINSE OUT BUT AFTER PUT PURE VINEGAR ON IT,WATCH FOR THE EYES,THIS MAKES THE HAIR SQOUEKY CLEAN AND THAN THE EGGS AND NITS COMB RIGHT OUT!I SWEAR IT WORKS AND IT IS NATURAL AND INEXPENSIVE!

Try with warm vinegar. Put a towel over the head one hour. It usually works. Then comb the kid with the special comb to get rid of the eggs.

thoroughly combing their hair (preferably whilst wet) everyday, it takes longer but it will work - if not ask at your local chemist, they will advise you on what is best
warmed vinegar works well its natural and cheap just make sure you scrape of the eggs and pick out the lice one by one
Yes, you can put olive oil in their hair and go through every strand of hair. Mine wnet through that one night after I got fed up many years ago. I stayed up all night doing it but it was well worth the effort. Then I banned them from going over to certain ppl's houses to visit.
well, there are only a few options out on the market, but go take a look at some of them, maybe some are more herbal and safer.none of my kids have had lice yet.but while in the drug store i saw quite a few different varieties of lice removal.i wouldn't recommend shaving there heads though.
shave all the body hair off the victim. Using a maginifying glass and a pair of tweezers hand pick every one of them little rascals off the body. Pay careful attention to the rectum and penis/vagina area as they love to hide in dark damp rescesses.

Coat ALL of their hair THICKLY with Mayo and put a plastic shower cap or saran wrap over their hair. Let it sit for a couple of hours. Wash their hair completely. MOST IMPORTANTLY, comb their hair throughly with a fine tooth comb to remove ALL of the nits. (If you even leave one nit, you'll be doing this ALL over again.)

Take any bedding, towels, clothes etc. wash them in the hottest water for the fabric. Put stuffed animals in a plastic bag for a couple of days. Vaccumm the car, any and all chairs, and the rugs if the kids play on the floor. You want to remove all traces of the bugs.
wash the dead with soup and rinse it three times and repeat that every day , do not miss any day and make it a habit.
