Does the Red Cross inform Donors if they can't use their blood. or if the have HIV or aid, but didn't know?

I took an aids test a while ago, then I gave blood. The never contacted me, infact I recieved a donor card. I wanted to know if they would let me know anything

If they can't use your blood due to disease they are supposed to let you know about it but I sure wouldn't count on it. Get yourself checked by some other way if at all possible.

If they take the contact information from you I would say they would let you know. I think they would have to for your health and their health.
Yes they will send you a letter saying that they couldn't use your blood but I dont know how much detail that they go into about why not. If you suspect that something is wrong see your doctor or go the local health department. Most of them have free and anonomous aids testing

It would be their moral obligation to notify you if they discovered AIDS, I would think.
It is their obligation to contact you so they can inform you. HIV/Aids infections have to be reported to the state health dept and CDC (center for disease control).
