Question on the HIV virus and aids..I have a few questions on this subject?

Is the HIV virus more concentrated more in a persons sexual organism than his blood or saliva?

I remember my biology teacher said that if you are infected with HIV, even your saliva would have the virus but since the concentration of it in your saliva is so slim its difficult to spread it just by kissing someone.

Another thing is I also remember reading on AnyQA.coms saying, if you swallow a HIV infected man's semen as long as you don't have any open cuts or wounds the chances of the virus being able to survive in the stomach or mouth is really unlikely. Is this true?

And also can the HIV virus go threw a condom? If it can, would using 2 condoms be more effective in preventing entry to the body?

(When answering this question.. please provide some link or reference on how you got your answer so I can be certain your answer is correct. And please answer with the truth don't use the fear tactic to manipulate me like the news or the anti-drug companies do.)

* vaginal fluid
* breast milk
* other body fluids containing blood

The HIV virus is found in very, LOW concentrations in:
*saliva
*tears
Bear in mind, that there have been NO confirmed cases of HIV transmission through saliva or tears (or sweat) according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC). There have been suspected cases but again, nothing confirmed. It is believed that the amount of virus present is probably too low to transmit AIDS but that the risk is not non-existant.

You should not swallow semen of an HIV positive man. While the HIV virus isn't particularly robust like other viruses, many viruses can hibernate through hostile conditions such as stomach acid. You simply do not want to take the risk even though the risk is considered fairly low.

Whether HIV can pass through a condom depends on who you ask. According to the FDA in one study done in 1992, HIV can go through a condom. According to the CDC, the idea that HIV can go through a condom is rubbish.

The other downside to condoms is that they break during sex and sometimes slip off which renders it useless. Using 2 condoms, one as backup in case one of them fails, is safer than using 1, but again, 2 can still fail.

Ive studied STD's in my A-levels and so I got in depth knowledge on the subject, HIV is spread by a)blood transfusions b)sharing of contaminated needles c)no or improper contraceptives used in sexual intercourse.. so it is basically spread by direct contact of blood or semen by 2 people. Condoms as you should know are not 100% effective, they may be only at maximum 60-70% effective and so there is still a risk of HIV-infection but the risk is much lower compared to not using a condom at all, but yes if you use 2 condoms it is much safer but still not 100%, you can never be 100% sure you won't get HIV if you are having sex with an HIV-positive person even if you using 3-5 condoms ( ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN).. Kissing an HIV-positive person doesn't cause HIV to spread unless the infected person has a cut in or around his lips or mouth then yes it can infect you.

First, you should NEVER use 2 condoms. The chance of it breaking is FAR greater if you use 2. HIV cannot pass through a condom. If you wear a condom, you will be ALOT safer than if you don't.

There is little to no risk of getting HIV through kissing. The HIV virus can be found in saliva.. but it would take 3 gallons of spit to equal 1 teaspoon of semen ( when you consider the risk of transmission)

There is some risk of infection through oral sex. Open sores in the mouth , throat or stomach can cause transmission, but the risk is small.
