I have a question about a my trouble with bowel movements?
Answers:
You need to get more fiber in your diet. Eat more fruit, whole wheat bread, bran cereals. An apple a day will do wonders for bowel movements.
Before resorting to surgery I would try a fiber product like Benefiber and yogurt with live cultures
I don't know of any surgeries, but you could have an impacted bowel, which is dangerous. Have you tried Milk of Magnesia? If you have trouble all the time, you should take it every night until you get regular. This may sound crazy but there is a potato chip on the market that will help you go to the bathroom. Lay's fat free chips, they are make with Olean oil and there is something in that that will make you go. Don't let it go too long, it could be dangerous for you.
Go Into your doctor and have a colonoscope to determine if you have polyps or a tumor in or on your intestine.
it's called irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. seek a specialist (a gastrointestinal doctor) and he will prescribe the correct medication.
those with ibs can have mood swings, often misdiagnosed with adhd as well as depression and/or anxiety. ibs can be associated with pain in the bowel as well as the stomach.
a classic sign of ibs is one that your experiencing now and that is you have to go but you cant.
i also advise if your taking a multivitamin or eat foods with iron in it (lots of red meat, certain veggies) to try and wean off of them, sugar included-do not substitute sugar with artificial this is just as bad. eat fruits and grains until you see a doctor.
Are you drinking at least 2 quarts of water a day? If not, do that. Also, get some of the really yummy Del Monte dried plums (prunes) and eat about 10 of them and a glass or two of your water.
