Can a Male get AIDS from a female?

Please include proof in your answers.

Answers:
Yes, they can but with less transmissibility than male to female or male to male. Each act of unprotected intercourse with an infected female results in transmission to the male in 2 % of the cases. So, if you have had unprotected intercourse with an infected female 10 times you have a 20% chance or one in five chance of being infected.

Would not recommend it, but if it was a one time event, the odds are pretty good in your favor. Get tested now and six months from now, and don't have unprotected sex with anyone in that time until you know your infectious status at the end of the six months.

YUP. Ask any doctor, moron.

Yes. You can get AIDS from a female that was a druggie or a prostitute. If she was a druggie, she probably got it from a dirty needle. If she were a hooker, she got it from unprotected sex or from a client that had it.
i don't have proof, but we learned this in health class : yes, a male CAN get aids from a female.
You are having one of those Carlos Mencia "De-de-de!" moments huh? Of course they can, silly. I'm not including any link because this is common sense. If a chick has HIV, and she has sex with a man, there is a chance that man will contract it.
Are you retarded? Yes, any gender can get AIDs from the other. AIDS is caused by HIV. The V stands for virus. Virus' are transmittable from any person to any person. That's like asking if you can get the flu from a female.

Read about it and educate yourself.
Yes. Because fluids are transferred from person to person, it is possible and highly likely.

The first link shows how males can contract HIV from female prostitutes.

The 2nd link is from the Center for Disease Control and states that HIV/AIDS is transferred from one sexual partner to another irregardless of gender.
OFCOURSE IF THE FEMALE HAS AIDS. SEX IS UNIVERSAL SO IS AIDS
yes you can aids is mostly in females because of the birth control pill in the 60s women given more accounts of aids than any other year i go to the doctors and get a aids tests every six months

do not worry only 1 in 29 people can catch aids
You were kidding, right? Perhaps you live on mars. If so, answer is yes. Basically, if you are considering any form of sexual intercourse (activities that involve exchanging body fluids) you and your prospective partner (of any sex) need to be sure that niether of you has aids or any other std (sexually transmitted disease). You need to attempt to be mature enough to realize that masturbation is better than illness or death, and that good communication and mutual respect are prerequsites to a worthwhile excursion into shared sexuality. (Why do I have the nagging feeling that this answer is going to sail right over this bozo's head?)

You shouldn't be having sex if you don't know the answer to THAT question.
yes,
Transmission and infection ARE NOT gender specific! Actually, if a woman is infected it is easier for a man to get it from a woman than it is for a woman to get it from an infected man! Wrap it UP!
yes

breast milk from nursing
vaginal fluids from sex

blood from sharing needles and syringes
How the hell do you think it's spread to millions of people?
