Will i still die in my 60,s?

Hi im a smoker and im about to quit i was wondering i have C O P D. and if i quit now will i ever get a longer chance on life my grandma , my aunt,my mother all passed away in there early 60,s and im worried im gonna do the same . plz help im only 43 but im worried.
