How many people undergo Interbody Fusion Surgery?

Can the patient complete recover from LFIX implants?
How many percent of the recovering?
What is the risk?

it's the toughest surgery that i saw my dad go through, and unfortunately he had it 2 times. this isn't the normal, but his fusion's didn't take the first time, because he smokes! they used donor bone the 1st, but took from his hip the 2nd time. he does pretty great now, rides his tractor around his land and all! he has bad days, of course, but not like the times b4 the surgery!
