What are the health risks associated with anal sex?
is it true that you need alot of lubricant and a condom rather than just bare
Answers:
There is a high incidence of transmission of Sexually Transmissible Infections through unprotected sex, unprotected anal sex carries the same risks. Use of prophylactics and other precautions are a medically recomended way to lessen risk of infection. Condoms are alleged to be less effective and more prone to burst or slip during anal sex than vaginal sex. However, while one study estimates that condoms fail anywhere from 10% - 32% of the time during anal sex, SIECUS indicates a much lower failure rate of 0.5 to 12%.
Some manufacturers offer "extra strong" condoms designed specifically for anal intercourse. These condoms, while stronger, are usually not coated with spermicide and so offer less protection against pregnancy should semen enter a woman's vagina. However, since spermicide is an irritant to both the vagina and the anus, it can make contracting STDs easier for either partner, and can cause complications such as irritation, vaginal E. coli infection, and urinary tract infection. It can also damage the lining of the colon over time and should be avoided in condoms and lubrication.
Lots of lubricant or you'll risk breaking/tearing the condom.
Increased risk of anal fissures, which are tears in the lining of the anus.
I like lilly's explanation better than mine. Much more vivid.
the same health risks with having any kind of sex, use protection alwase, just because its a different type of sex doesnt make it safe
The health risk is that you may dump in your pants
I heard that it does take lots of lubrication. Seems like it would hurt though. And i would definately use a condom.
That is absolutely true. You should also be very careful when having anal sex because of sexually transmitted diseases. When you have anal sex, it creates amall tears around the outside of the anus. Any fluids that get into those small tears enter your bloodstream. Be very careful about who you have anal sex with and always use condoms. If you have an understanding partner who cares for you anal sex can be wonderful.trust me:)
It will break your anal wall like the elastic on old panties and you will be dropping turds like the girl on flavor of love 2.
It is a wrong notion to think that a lot of lubricant and a condom can save you from contacting diseases while having anal sex. Condom is not a 100% guaranteed measure of safety against anal sex related diseases. Even a minor hole (pore) in the condom will attract the virus
Think I got a urinary tract infection over the weekend, from not using a condom. And Lilly, while your explanation is quite colorful, ample lubrication and proper preparation may help avoid old-panty-elastic syndrome.
