does anyone have experience of the disease henoch schonlein purpura hsp?

my daughter has had this terrible disease for17 months now just wondering if anyone has experienced this

my boyfriend had it last year and ended up with kidney failure, he's only 33 and our lives have been hell ever since. please make sure your daughter adheres strictly to all instructions your doctor gives her and there is a good chance she'll end up fine. if there is renal involvement, have her monitored very closely because the kidneys can deteriorate very fast if left alone with the disease. if monitored at least on a monthly basis, however, your doctor will be able to pick up on any deterioration fast and prescribe medication (ace inhibitors, steroids etc.) that might save your daughter's kidneys. my heart goes out to you, i wish you and your girl all the luck and well-being in the world!

Yes, I had it for a year when I was younger.

Don't think it left me with any lasting problems, although I can't tell can I, who knows what I would have been like without it ?
