treating borderline hypothyroidism?
my TSH 1.3 and free T4 11.1 does this need medication?
Answers:
maybe not medication yet but should be followed up in a couple of months. If you are not feeling well at this time, then perhaps a very low dose of thyroxine would help, but levels would need to be checked after 1 month.
You needs follow up.
try getting some coral calcium supliment and see if that helps. Go to walmart or local pharmacy. It all natural and will not cause problems with any meds you take.
In December my TSH was 1.14 and my T4 was 5.3. Endocrinologist started me on replacement of 25 gr.
It is now TSH 2.14 and T4 of .9
I should have had my blood checked months ago but time got a way from me. I have an endocrinologist appointment on the first of Sept. to review what is going on.
