where can someone with cancer that can't work get financial help?
i'm 20, and can't work at the sheetmetal job that i had, and i need to make money. my bills are racking up. any suggestions?

Have you tried signing up for disability or going by your local social services? You should be able to get food stamps and some other help.

Contact your social sec. Administration for disability. I just want to tell you, they work very slowly. In the meantime you can perhaps get some help also by the Welfare for food stamps and get some money from there for the bills.
talk with someone at social security, also with a social worker at the hospital you are receiving treatment at, or if not at hospital ask your doctor to refer you to someone. good luck.
try social service or i am not too sure were you live but i know in canada we have this place called aish my mom was on when she had cancer and was around
