Best sheepskin for pressure sore prevention?

Answers:
There are many pressure relieving options. It will depend on the person's level of risk of pressure sores. The best person to advise you would be your local district nurse. (i'm in the UK) They can assess the level of risk. Sheepskins are one option. There are also foam over-mattresses, specialised mattresses, air-flow mattresses etc.

On a personal note, i'm bedridden & in bed 24/7. A sheepskin would not be enough for me. I've already tried. I use a special mattress provided by the district nurse & a foam over-lay on top of that. It does come down to personal preference somewhat so it can be a bit of trial & error.

I wish you all the best & i hope this helps.
