stroke and swelling of face?
My bestfriend had a stroke at 18, her face started to get really swollen before that, she had another one at 21, she was born with an anuerysm in her brain on the right side, anyone heard of this face swelling?
Answers:
Eodema, or adema, is the accumulation of acess fluid under the skin. It's usual in people after suffering from a stroke from the use of IV's and other fluids. Eodema will eventually subside in a while.
How sad :(.I have never heard of the face swelling after having a stroke..And an aneurysm does not cause the face to swell neither.I am stumped.I suggest that your friend seek other medical advice.
