You should really go see your doctor if this is chronic. You probably need to control your diet so the foods you eat aren't agravating the problem and their is acid reducers that you can take daily to reduce stomach acid. Mainly though, GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR.
don't worry about heart burn go to the doctor and let him check u out right away i think it's more than heart burn.
club soda works for me
go to the doctor or the emergency at the hospital you don't have simple heartburn....
As Bob says, you need to see your doctor. If left untreated, heartburn can lead to permanent damage and eventually cancer.
Try making and drinking rosemary herbal tea. You can probably buy some already made up in teabags in a health food store. If you can get some fresh rosemary, take the tip of a branch (about 5 cms long.) and steep it in boiling water for 8 - 10 minutes. You can sweeten it but I wouldn't use honey because of its high acidity. I usually take one to three cups daily when I suffer from heartburn. It works really well. Good luck!
You need to visit a doctor or a specialist to have the situation assessed. You'll probably need to get an endoscope.
dont play with this I have been diagoniosed with a stomach diease from acid reflex ,the linning of my stomach was ready to bleed ,and my dr done a scope test and byopisy of the linning and found it ,I also had the feeling of food being stuck ,I never had heart burn ,but tightness of the chest .you can buy meds over the counter to help with this prilosec and you take it every day .this could become serious and without treatment you could get stomach cancer .good luck hope you feel better .
STOP EATING THATS THE ONLY WAY I KNOW
Heartburn or pyrosis is usually caused by esophageal problems like an incompetent gastroesophageal sphincter. However, Heartburn can happen in entirely normal individual but frequent and sever occurrences may mean an esophageal dysfunction. This usually happens at night especially when in a recumbent or lying position and when there is excessive ingestion of food. This causes a warm or burning sensation located behind the sternum or high in the epigastrium which can radiates to the neck or sometimes the arm. It may also occur after ingestion of certain foods like citrus fruit juices or drugs like aspirin and Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (Naproxen, Mefenamic acid) or antirheumatic drugs and stress.
Knowing these factors that precipitate heartburns, avoidance naturally is of great help. Avoid also consuming large amount of food especially at night and when sleeping elevation of the upper body would lessen the chances of regurgitation. Antacid is quite effective in bothersome cases or H2 receptor antagonist like Zantac effervescent 150 mg. melted in cold water can be used for an immediate relief of severe pains and bloated sensation.
