is it true that they think they have found a cure for cancer or something? i'm not exactly sure but someone told me they thought they had found a cure. anyways j/w

There are many different types of cancer and no they have not found a cure for all.
I dont think they have anything concrete but they are always making advances in the study of cancer
they already found a cure some years ago..but the doctors didnt want it released.theyd lose money ya know..
It's only been tested on a few - gene theraphy, wherein the white cells are taught to identify and erraticate the cancer cells. It wiped out the cancer in those it was tried upon. Now they are getting it ready for larger trials.

Cancer is not one single disease it is a group of diseases and different cancers express different characteristics. So there is no one answer as a cure for cancer. Recent advances in molecular biology and genetics have shown that more than 20 genes and their products are expressed in altered form in different tumors. So somebody finding a cure for cancer as a whole is absolutely ridiculous.
