Can exessive mucus (post nasal drip) cause heartburn?
Answers:
I would not suspect it to cause heartburn. It does cause a burning sensation that feels like a connection from your inner ear to your stomach though. It is because it is an irritant to a sensitive area.
Either you are confusing the two, or you DO have heartburn and it is not related to P.N.D. So get some Prilosec, try it, if it works ..viola. if not, it just may be the P.N.D. and you should be taking flonase or something.

sounds crazy but yea i suffered from that. and sore throat, respiratory problems
No, but heartburn can cause post nasal drip. There have been studies that show the acid in the stomach can actually reflux into the sinuses. Heartburn can cause chronic sinus infections and ear infections.
