I took a 28.8 millicurie dose of radioactive iodine for my overactive thyroid. How long must I stay away from my 3 year old granddaughter and my pregnant daughter-in-law?

I would ask your radiologist (?) since noone here is probably qualified to give you a correct answer.

I was told 3 days from everyone and a week from hugging. This does not mean stay away in the sence that you can not be in the same room but no touching or standing near. It goes by fast so just stick it out. Good luck
