fighting hay fever?

I have several questions regarding hay fever
1. is it ok to swim during hay fever symptom?
2. which one is good to fight hay fever symptom, high humidity or low humidity (using vaporizer or dehumidifier)?
3. sometimes when I had sore throat that comes with this hay fever, I suck and swallow warm water through my nose, and I feel good afterward, is this ok? or is it actually worsen the hay fever?

thank you for the advice

Answers:
My brother has pretty severe hay fever and he goes to the doctor ant the beginning of hay fever season, he then gets some injection and he's more or less fine for the rest of the season.
To answer your questions:
1. As long as you can breathe, I think you can swim. It's up to you really, how you feel, how much air you are getting. Just try not to drown ;-)
2. I really don't know if it makes any difference. Hay fever is an allergy to pollen. Maybe you should use a filtering system to filter your air, so there are less pollen in your house.
3. If it makes you feel better, just do it. You could also use saline solution.

The following is a record of my teams observations of a herd of cattle over a two week period.
We live in an agricultural area.... and have witnessed first hand the harsh side affects of hay fever. The worst side effect is the binding of your stool by far. All Bran ain't got noth'n on that. After observing cattle for a two week period we noticed that a runny nose was quite common. The cattle would stick their noses into the hay to wipe or dry them off but quite often they would just eat more hay. This just created a vicious cycle as you could imagine.

1. The cattle could not swim very well. Most just sank to the bottom of the lake or river only to become stuck in the soft sands/mud at the bottom. (I would not recommend swimming).

2. High humidity seemed to make things worse. I would suggest a dehumidifier as the vaporizer we were using disintegrated the whole cow...(If you could find a vaporizer with a setting control you might have more success).

3. Rather than sucking and swallowing warm water to relieve your sore throat, I would suggest you try mooing, mooing was heard quite often and I can only surmise it was a way for the cattle to relieve the sore throat symptom.

Best of luck.. I hope this helps.
