How long does it take to get result back when you are being tested for cancer?

Depends on the type of cancer. My Thyroid Cancer results came back in a couple of days.

If it was a biopsy, plan on waiting up to two weeks.

I would say the results should come back in 7-10 days.
To figure out if a biopsy is cancer or not it doesn't take more than 3-4 days. I had mine Monday and knew on Thursday.
Later to determine what kind and what makes it grow and all those things can take much longer.
if you had a ct usually 24 hours. MRI the same. Biopsi can take 7 to 10 days.
