Does someone sufer the same from a massive heart attack than just a heart attack? Is there any pain from m.a.?

Ok honey.. Heart attacks are a tricky one. You can have a "massive attack" and not feel it at all.. some people die in their sleep. OR you can have a moderate heart attack and it be extremely painful.

For instance if someone is a diabetic they usually have what is considered to be atypical heart attacks. It means not normal. Its because there is tissue damage from the diabetes. Most diabetics dont get chest pains when they have heart attacks just nausea and shortness of breath.

Like the person before me said. Heart attack severity is always based upon the amount of damage caused to the heart muscle.

There are varying degrees of damage. Some are minor and do little damage if treated soon. Others are large and cause sudden death. It depends on the size of the infarct (portion of the heart which is dying) which depends on how much blood and oxygen is being cut off from that part. They can be painful or relatively symptomless. Usually a heavy pressure feeling in the center of the chest and pain that sometimes radiates to the arm, neck, and jaw; sometimes with sweating and nausea.
M.I. = myocardial infarction
If its massive enough, the last thing you're going to worry about is the pain. You'll be dead.
