Any doctors real one can distinguish HIV from STD? any cure on these?

Just a topic brought by one of my chum girls.but we cant ask anyone who had experienced. whom to talk?is there anyone would admit that he/she has?.thats why we rely on Q & A. Please help us for the awareness of this kind of disease.

HIV is a laboratory diagnosis. STD's have overt symptoms usually to suggest a diagnosis.
STD's (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) are a collection of diseases, not just one, including, but not limited to:
Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma, Yaws, Pinta, Which are caused by bacteria.
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), Genital Warts, Cervical Dysplasia, Cervical Cancer, Hepatitis B and C, Which are caused by viruses.
Trichimoniasis which is caused by a Parasite.
Crab lice which are insects.
Any Real Doctor can explain this and a complete exam and appropriate testing can distinguish which if the infections exist. Planned Parenthood and most County Clinics are not equipped to do everything necessary but they should be able to direct you to available help.
STD is the general term for all diseases bacterial or viral, curable or not that are transmitted through sex. HIV, though not solely transmitted only through sex but mainly is, can fall under the category of sexually transmitted diseases. So HIV is an STD, while STD can be HIV and a lot more of which most were mentioned by the one above me.
