Nobody can answer that without examining your husband. Take him to his physician for a real answer.

It's probably just a cyst, but there's an easy way to tell. With one hand, gently hold his scrotum away from the rest of his body. Try to use your thumb to GENTLY take hold of the testicle in question. With the other hand, point in some other direction and say "What's that?"
When your husband's attention is diverted, grab a heavy object like a stapler and WHACK that testicle. If it's just a cyst, it will pop and that will take care of it. If not, it might be something more serious, and you should take your husband to the doctor.
This is what you get for asking strangers on the internet.
A bump on the testicle is not normal and needs to be checked for cancer.
Testicular cancer can result in a number of signs and symptoms. These may include:
A lump or enlargement in either testicle
A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum
A dull ache in the abdomen or groin
A sudden collection of fluid in the scrotum
Pain or discomfort in a testicle or the scrotum
Enlargement or tenderness of the breasts
Unexplained fatigue or a general feeling of not being well
Cancer usually affects only one testicle.
I hope it ain't Big Casino because I have one on "lefty', also! Really.I double-checked on 'Her".
unless your a doctor go have him tested don't go to any online medical advise place thats very serious, you would go if you felt a lump on your breast right so go get hom tested
I don't know if it is cancer. However, any cancer caught early has a better chance of being cured. Please make an appointment with his doctor. It's better safe than sorry.
Good luck.
why are you asking people this question on the internet?
take your husband to the doctor!
"most testicular lumps are NOT cancer. At a testicular clinic at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, only 76 cancers were found out of 2,000 men seen with a testicular lump. This means fewer than 4 in every 100 testicular lumps (4%) are cancer"
If I were your husband I would still get in checked though.
Please see the webpages for more details on Testicular cancer.
Just tell him to go get it checked. My ex had a lump on his, my daughter was visiting him for the summer, so he put off seeing the dr. so "she wouldn't get worried". In the meantime, he said it swelled up to the size of a grapefruit, then he came down with what he thought was pneumonia. Well, he found out it was cancer, had spread to his lungs, had the testicles and a lung removed. Few month later spread to his brain and his other lung. This has all happened in less than a years time. Not trying to scare you, but just making a point, don't put it off.
I don't think testicular cancer is that common in men that old..but I could be wrong.better see a doctor.
It could be a spermatocoele. He should have it checked.
It could definitely be cancer, but it could also be some minor problem. He needs to go to the doctor and get checked out. Testicular cancer effects many young men. It is more common than people realize, and it is very serious. If treated early, it can be cured. However, it does spread quickly, so be prudent and take him to the doctor!
