Explain the relationship between AIDS/HIV and the workplace.?
The relationship should be clearly outlined.
Answers:
HIV is the virus that causes AIDS(Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). With universal precautions there is no reason to have concerns with HIV in the work place. Many people are unaware of their HIV status. The ways to contract the virus are through sexual contact (anal, vaginal and oral) breast milk, in vitro and sharing needles (drugs, steroids or other injectibles) and contact with the blood of an infected person and you must have a point of entry if you come in contact with the blood. So basically if you are not having unprotected sex with your co worker you have no worries. Get Tested .Know YOUR Status.Use Condoms each and every time you have sexual contact. Be Safe
If I have unprotected sex with a co-worker who has AIDS/HIV, then I stand a greater chance of contracting the disease.
don't understand the question. relationship of what? this doesn't make any sense.
