Accoutic ceiling removed last week & I don't know if it had asbestos. Can the air be tested after the fact?
The person who removed it, wet it & with a putty knife put it into a bucket & bagged the room & took everything with him. Can someone come out and test the air or is it to late?
Answers:
The ceiling tiles should have been analyzed for asbestos content prior to removal. The only thing you can do now is close off the room(s), agitate the air with a fan and take air samples.
The airborn fibers are the concern. If they are gone just clean everything down with a damp rag.
