Flying with an aunt with alzheimer's.?

I am going to be flying my aunt down to Florida to an Alzheimer's Care Facility in about a week. If anyone has any suggestions to have this trip go smoothly, I would greatly appreaciate it. Thank you.

I would notify the airlines ahead of time. Perhaps they have dealt with this and can better advise you. Also, you can contact a local Alzheimers Care Facility and ask them if they have any suggestions. It may be best if her doctor prescribes her some antianxiety meds that may keep her calm during the flight. Is there any one things that brings comfort to her? A photograph, a teddy bear, or looking a certain books? Perhaps you could pack some things like that. Good luck and God bless.

first thing warn the airline people she has it, and if you can sedate her , do , as she could go ape in the plane and cause all manner of problems.
Hi

Contact the airline, and ask their advice
They usually have experienced people, and they can also advise the actual flight personnel

Good luck, and I hope you have a safe trip
