How can I tone my arms without creating muscle?

I am a size 8 which i know is not at all big but just recently i have noticed that i am developing "bingo wings". How can i tone them without turning the flab into muscle?

Answers:
You need to tone with light weights. I would reccommend 3-10 pound weights. NOT OVER 10 POUNDS!! Or this could create a problem. The lower the amount the less likely you will get muscley, however, it will take longer to get to your destination. But 5 pounds would probably be ideal. By the way you want your flab to turn into muscle, and it will. However, it will just be a small portion. This will give you deffinition, but not bulk. Do two sets of 20 reps each, with a 30 to a min. break between them. Do this for all the arm excersizes you do. Good Luck!!

just exercise with a light weight.
many reps, light weights, curls and flex's-maybe 8-10 lbs.
do some circut training and all round exercise
you want to do lots of reps with light weights.do curls and presses, but not a lot of weight.
low weight like 5-10lbs..do more reps. don't increase you weights just increase the amt of reps you do when it starts getting easy.
Stretching
Tone is a result of muscle building. You could only "bulk down" by lifting light weight weights continually.
cardio is the only answer light areobic sess's or simply running or cyling
you actually want to turn the flab into some muscle, that's where you get the tone from.

push ups are a good toner excercise! if you can't do push ups from the floor, you could do them against a wall.

another great excercise: take a 5 lb weight, straighten your arm above your head, (the side of your elbow should be across from your ear). while keeping your upper arm in place flex your elbow (the weight should be up by your shoulder now)keeping in mind control and speed, and then extend arm back to starting position. repeat 3 reps of 10 and you'll see results in no time!

if you need additional information, you want to look up the triceps muscle. that's the one you're trying to "tone"!
light weights and do weight training atleast 3 to 4 times a week.am sure the gym instructor can show you how.they're pretty easy mate! good luck getting rid of your bingo wings..once they're gone, they will turn into muscles but use light weight so the muscles you'll grow wont be too bulky!
Well for one thing if you're on a diet: Diets never ever work! This is what I did to get the body I have in just one month of working out for 20mins per day and and eating healthy. I don't like having to workout for long periods of time. So I take it easy on myself. The less crap I put into my body the less I have to work out.
Try working out on an elliptical training machine for like 20-30 mins per day. That's all you need, 20-30 "MINS", no weights. If you don't want to work out everyday do it for at least 3 times per week. Don't put crap in your body, "if you put garbage in, you get garbage out". You'll be amazed at the results in 2weeks. So you drop a few and tone your & tighten your body without having to look like a man. This worked for me and I know it will work for you as well. No need to be pumping iron for hours and exerting yourself more than you have to.take care
Ok for a start being female you ain't gonna put on a shed load of muscle, you don't produce enough testosterone to 'bulk up'.
Secondly high reps with low weights, and tricep dips.
Thirdly try pilates or yoga for all round toning.
If you need to shed calories do spin classes its a hard slog but well worth it!
