My daughter is 10 and is 3ft 11 and weighs 48 lbs. She seems healthy. Should I be worried?

Answers:
I would talk to her pediatrician - he/she can alleviate any fears you may have.

don't worry be happy :)
ide say you should be fairly concerned but not quite paniced yet.
what would you need to be worried about? You do monitor what you feed her right,,,,you are her mom...no white bread or white flour and no sugar..
sounds healthy to me for her height
Just to be on the safe side I would have her checked for diabetes and any thyroid conditions she might have developed. I know when I was that age I was very overweight too. My mom took me to the doctor and had me checked but nothing was wrong. It never hurts to check though.
Just be careful where you sneeze, you might blow her away.
What does her doctor say? My cousin's 2 girls were like that, and eventually the doctor put them on growth hormone so they'd grow a little taller. It did help. They're both over 5' now. You may want to get a few opinions from different specialist.

Although, if she's a talented gymnast, maybe this could be to her advantage!
she's a little person
why should you be worried?
uhh. kind of. If she's only 48 lbs, that's not good (unless your talking about kg.) and 3ft 11in is really short. if she really is ok after being checked out by a pediatrician then that's great
yes!! the sky could fall! 'chicken little!, chicken little!, off, to see the king!"
What is the question?
She's 10 and almost 4 foot tall
You think 48# is fat, skinny?
You answered your question .
"she seems healthy"
work yourself into a heart attack.
Thanks 2pts
