No, you are not over weight at all! You sound very healthy. Don't let anyone tell you you are over weight b/c you are clearly not! If you wanted to lose weight or lose fat and gain muscle tone, you are on the right track but you will need to do some cardio! So, hope this answers your ? NO YOU ARE SO NOT OVERWEIGHT!

maybe a couple of lbs but not to much. read tips on some great workouts to tone up more on this site
try a little cardio in addition to weights and ask a trainer for an assessment. i think most will give a free evaluation.

TOTALLY OVERWEIGHT! Are you serious - you have to ask?

Honey, stop eating sugar and potato chips and hit the Stairmaster!

I almost threw up!
you're 14! relax, you sound fit to me, keep eating healthy and working out and you'll be fine. but if you're really self contious about it, try doing some cardio, that'll help you tone muscles, burn fat and keep your heart healthy.

just relax, you're still growing too, your body is changing like crazy but you're already on the right track working out at home, just dont over do it.
From self.com
How much should you weigh?
Your healthy weight range is 115 - 154 pounds.

In addition to weight training you should add some cardio to burn off fat.

You could visit http://www.self.com/fitness/ for some different exercises.
no you are probably not over weight. but like me, society has burned this unachievable image of how we are suppose to look into our heads. tip: with your workout that you are already doing, do some cardio. go for walk or run everyday.
You are absolutely NOT overweight. Before I had my daughter I weighed 135 and I am 5'5 and I looked very skinny. People carry their weight differently, and muscle weighs more than fat, so your actual weight doesn't matter, it's what you look like. Now, as for exercising, don't only lift weights! Your arms are gonna bulk up even more. As a matter of fact, stop lifting the weights all together for right now. Do cardio, go for runs or even brisk walks. And if your thighs are your problem area, then try exercising on a stepper. they work wonders for your whole body, but especially for your thighs and booty. If you don't have access to one, then climb actual steps-up and down up and down. Also, completely cut out the fast food, sweets and junk food all together. You don't need it. Eat lots of protein and drink lots of water. I am sure you are a beautiful girl and have a nice figure already, but if you are not happy with yourself, then it doesn't matter how much people tell you that you look fine the way you are. So like I said, no more weights, do lots of cardio and eat healthy and you will be smokin hot girl! Good Luck hon:)
The human body encompasses lots of different shapes. Having no idea of what you look like, body type, or prior life/medical history; I only have your height and weight to go on.

Taking your weight and height and calculating the BMI (body mass index) gives a result of 22.6 which falls in the "normal" range. Between 18 - 25 is considered normal. Over 25 is considered "overweight", above 30 is "obese".

My guess is that you are not overweight. You are healthy but just being overly critical of yourself. Note how you think you are generally healthy but tend to focus in on particular areas that you are unhappy with, ie: "thighs are slightly bigger than they are supposed to be".

Of course most people can stand to lose a few pounds so if you do want to lose weight and tone your body, you will have to work in a mix of aerobic cardio and weights.

I noticed that you are only training with weights. In order to tone your body you need to engage in some sort of cardio --get your heart rate up and your body sweating. For example, running and swimming are both excellent ways to tone your body. Laying down that base physical activity will really help with your goals.

With weight training, emphasize low impact, low weight, high repetition exercises. In the beginning, I would start with more days of cardio and less weight focused days.

Diet. Eating properly is very important to attaining physical goals. The old adage of "Garbage In, Garbage Out" rings true in this regard. Learn to read nutrition labels and watch out for serving sizes. Saturated fats and things high in calories are like garbage for the human body. Eat unprocessed wholesome foods high in proteins and vitamins. Eat more vegetables and fruits, less sugars. Drink more water --drinking 6-8 glasses a day will keep you well hydrated and also reduce hunger pangs.

Again on nutrition, watch what you eat! Your Basal caloric burn rate (the amount of calories your body burns in day normally) is probably around 2000/day. That means you need about 2000 calories a day to just maintain your weight and 3500 calories = 1 pound of body weight. So you need to burn NET 3500 calories to lose a pound of weight.

The last thing I am going to mention is the fact that there is no magic bullet when it comes to weight and toning your body. The human body works together and exercise affects your whole system, not just the part you want to train. The goal you are trying to achieve, slimmer thighs, will come eventually but your whole body will be affected. You will end up being slimmer all around. There is no way to just target one part of your body.

I know I've been rambling for a while but ultimately, when it comes down to it, the question is: Are you happy with yourself and the way you look? In the end, this is your body and you are the one in charge of it. Always keep things in perspective. As someone who has lost over 40 pounds over the last two years myself, I've learned that no matter what you look like on the outside, the person inside is what matters most.

Good Luck!
No, you are not even close to being overweight. You are absolutely fine, so please don't worry about your weight, just focus on toning up like you are already. HTH : )
