If you are on a board plan, you will have to see what accomodations are made for special diets. You may have a challenging time getting the full range of nutrition you need. It is easier to be vegan if you are in control of buying and preparing your own food.

there will be plenty of vegans at college, regardless of the size school you're attending. ask the food service people if there is a special vegan group, or special cafeteria for vegans. i can't imagine it will end up being too tough unless you're going to the university of burger king.
Give it up! Vegans are less healthy in teh long run than the average person. Don't try to be a trendy liberal. Animals were put on this earth to be food. You will get a huge shock in college and trying to make it through the night on vegan food.
i'm sure there are others who are also vegans.. maybe there's even a club or something at school.
All I can say is your going to be making your own food a lot. Most campus vendors aren't very good at providing vegetarian meals, so being vegan is going to make it even tougher to find meals.
Don't worry! Just bring your own food. Vegetarien food is hard enough to get your hands on as it is in public places, so you can be sure you're more than likely going to left starving. :P

Now I may be wrong, some vegan foods may be availiable in the college cafeteria.

But college isn't like middle or highschool; you have freedom to hop in your car and go find something to eat, and you can bring your own food to lunch without worrying about hauling a lunch box. If you're living in a dorm, then buy yourself a tiny fridge and use it to store your vegan meals for lunch! Good luck! :P
