am i becoming anorexic what is wrong with me?
I am 17 years and im a senior year in highschool in my freshmen year i was 5'6 142 lbs then in my sophmore i was 5'7 135 lbs and then my junior year 5'7 125 lbs and now i may be 125 lbs or less and i went from playing sports to becoming extremely weak ive went from doing 10 or more push ups to barely getting 3 done and i cant seem to gain weight no matter what i eat.

You should go to see your physician. Really, you're losing weight and strength, maybe it's got something to do with your diet or something, or maybe you've got some sort of disease that won't let you gain weight. I strongly suggest that you go see your physician. You might have something serious and you don't even know it, when it comes to health, and even more when it's something as serious as anorexia, you should consult your doctor.
You'd know if you were.
add more protein foods to yr eating. read tips on healthier eating and exercise on this site that will give you the protein foods you should be eating while you exercise
stop hurting your self. life is more important then your weight. if you weigh that much then you r not fat. hope this helps. God bless you child.
You really need to go to the doctor, this sounds like a medical issue. You would know if you were anorexic, and would not have to ask the public at large. Are you starving yourself and exercising excessively?
first, if you're eating. I doubt it's anorexia. Anoexia is when you barely eat, if you eat at all. Umm..unless you're lying about eating. Otherwise..maybe tape worm or aides. Also, maybe you have some rare disease that's just eating your body away..I'd say..go see a doctor.
Please.Anorexia is a serious condition.go see your school conselor to see if this is what you think or perhaps something else. The key is to act now.

pork will make you gain weight, or try losing your virginity. jsut kidding. true about the pork but i wouldnt actually do that, or the other silly. i would increase protein and never eat eggs. also if it looks like youre having trouble absorbing anything from your food only use liquid or chuable vitamins
ya you are. eat some more meat. You don't want to be harming your body by malnutrition. if you aren't hungry just keep trying to feed yourself with oatmeal bars or something.
Go and see your doctor! stress can cause anyone to lose weight.and feel tired. If it is not stress, he could test you for a possible thyroid problem. have a family member or friend go with you. Hope everything works out for you!! good luck! :)
wow you seem like a mirror image of me. I went on a healthy eating kick that started out innocently enough, but then it started spiralling down so much that I started worrying my fam with how thin I was getting. I was cold all the time, I had no appetite and I had little energy. To get better I went to see a nutritionist who had me write down all that I was eating in a day and she gave me healthy ways to gain some weight back, and since I was an athlete also:) it came back in muscle form and I felt so good. So maybe you should see someone if yuo are concerned, but please don't take it further if you think you have a problem, people with anorexia can only play that game so long eventually the body will rebel, which is why so many anorexics become bulimic, the body will go into an eating frenzy that yuo cant control, don;'t mess with mother nature, just eat healthily and don't obsess about fitness and everything will stay nicely. God made our bodies to work beautifull if we just followed our cues to eat naturally and werent always forcing ourselves on diets. Good luck sweety:)
