What is better? Running 4 miles three times a week, or running 2 miles six times a week?
Answers:
For cadio training i recommend less miles but more days running
probabily the 2 miles 6 times a week.cause you will be getting more excersize daily wise..but im not an expert
Well obviously running 2 miles 6 times a week is better. BUT obviously depending on your age you should try to set your targets a bit higher than that if you are really dedicated to having high cardio levels. I try to get a marathon (26.2 miles) In every week. over 5 days. It is only 5 and a quarter miles a day. takes me 35 minutes. these are not "super athlete" targets but are very easy reachable targets .
it's really about the same.if u run 4 miles you need time to recoop,hence 3xs a week.to avoid fatige.while 2 miles is a shorter distance it is much easier to rebound from and it keeps u in shape, many people who run over 2 miles weekly look pretty sick to me...crosscountry ppl.go for a sprinter body ( ;
The less time requerided to start burning calories are 20 min.
More than that is good, but not too much because the more you run the more hunger you get so....
40min a day before breakfast (better) or before the ingest of any food not to stop you digestion is good.
From 3 to 5 times a week, body needs at least one whole day to rest to be healthy.
Obviously 2 miles every day and 6 days in a week because it qualifies as more regular exercise. But the compliance in long run will be poor with this schedule as a person may skip once a week the schedule. Another problem is that the exercise should last at least for 30 minutes, by than your blood glucose is used up and the lowered glucose make you feel hungry. Only at this time the body fat will be used up to replenish the lowered blood glucose. So doing more frequent (daily) is best but it should be vigorous enough and last at least 30 minutes
running 2 miles six times a week
I think the latter. It increases your metabolism.
No doubt, better 2 miles six times a week.
Running 2 miles seven times a week
