Detoxing your body?
Any suggestions?
Answers:
while its not good normally to lose 5 lbs. in that short of a time, ive done it before, so...the things that i have found that work are:
in combination i used:
def. get 8-8oz. glasses of water a day
eat foods high in antioxidants...such as blueberries, pomengranate juice(drink oops!), blackberries...
drink green and or white tea (no sugar...white tea tastes better i think)
i avoided red meat and salty or sweet foods (pastries, hot dogs...avoid)
drink all natural juices like apple juice and cranberry juice...
salty foods will make you retain water weight, so i try to aviod those when im losing the last 5 lbs.
hope this helps!
Make natural lemonade by squeezing lemons and adding fresh water... then add honey and red pepper powder (not chili powder) and store in the fridge. It has thermogenic and fat zapping properties. I used this twice, and both times I lost a bunch of weight and detoxed at the same time. It's supposed to be great for the endocrine system.
drinking all kinds of juices is going to mess up your blood sugar levels and metabolism. the whole point of detoxing is to regulate your metabolism back to it's normal level and is not "appropriate" for short-term weight loss.
Just get a good colon clenser, plenty of fiber, laxatives and Poo all that gunk out of you.

Ok, my mom and her entire work went and did this! at this spa, the stuck their feet in a pool that had electrodes in it! they constantly drank water and the electrodes naturally brought the toxins out of their bodies in a matter of a few hours! It was nasty! They had chuncks and stuff and it got everythign out of them! The extra metals, drugs, urinary problems, exass fat stuff, joint problems, it relieved all of them and got alot of it out of their system! You can even purchase your own for yourself @ home! Not sure what it is called though! Go for it! Don't do pills or shakes! U will be in pain!
