I been running a few months, only 3-4 miles a time, but the back of my achilies are sore all the time now?

Answers:
buy good snickers with good soles protectors and don't run on your hills amd try running on your tippy toes

buy better shoes
Try some new running sneakers, or some good insoles.
Do you stretch before you start running? If not, try that!
Do you stretch properly.
Shoes maybe?
Good shoes, stretch before and after running.
Hey mine used to hurt like that too! My problem was that I got new shoes and had to break them in. I run 4 miles a day and now I dont have the pain anymore. It felt like a streching pain in that area. Is that what you feel? If so, I would suggest getting new shoes if they are old or break in the new shoes if you just got them.

You need new shoes and to stretch better. First have four days off then go get new shoes (from a proper running shop NOT a normal high street sports store). And stretch more after running.
The thing is, u started running a lot randomly. Or if u dont hav socks on when u run, then ur anckes get sore and sho burned from rubbing agienst ur shoe. If its ur anckles, then see a doctor.
The right shoes and a good warm up before you start running, not forgetting to stretch when you get back from your run.
You go on cutting the distance or prefer jogging instead of running.
I think you may have pulled the tendon or muscle at the back of the leg which is connected to the achilles.

You need to go and see your GP about it.
First back off of running until the soreness goes away. If the soreness doesn't go away after a few days go to your doctor.

I'm guessing the pain is actually in the bottom of your calves or closer to your heel. If it's closer to the heel I think that you might have bruised it. Think about getting a really nice pair of running shoes.
I agree check your shoes--I never knew there were so many different kinds out there. Do a search because there is a site that you can enter information and it will tell you the best possible shoes for your type. As far as running and stretching goes--the new news is to start slowly warming up and then stretch more afterwards--more important to stretch afterwards than before. good luck!
I had this problem when I started running. it turned out that I have one leg slightly longer that the other and therefore I was stretching the Achilles tendon. The remedy was to put a layer of Surgical Felt in the heal of the shoe of the shorter leg.

You can get a partner to check it out. Simply lay on the floor and get them to have a look. even a quarter of an inch will affect the tendon and you will not notice the felt in the shoe. Yes get good running shoes and stretch as well.
give attention to your footwear its important
