It seems as if vitamin B12 injections improve energy and support thyroid function.so a wild guess if it improves your energy it must act like a stimulant when it is in excess ,much like caffeine, that increases your heart rate thereby boosting your metabolism increasing weight loss. I would be careful if you do take it as a supplement and not take more than the RDA. Other than that I'm sure that the weight loss effects if any aren't worth the trouble.
