It depends what you mean by "quick"
Sugar in its many forms will kick in as a energy boost. (Sucrose, fructose, maltose, etc.) But, if not burn completely and fast will become stored as fat.
For example: Fruits, candy, many soft drinks, etc.
Carbohydrates are good energy source, but are not as "quick" as sugar.
For example: Nuts, seeds, "energetic bars", etc.
Other are stimulants: caffeine, taurine, etc. But are not as healthy as the other options, (they speed your metabolism but do not feed it, so you pay a price for this).
Example; coffee, drinks like Red Bull and such.
Sports drinks. There are many kinds around, read levels. Some have lots of sugar in them for that quick lift, or stimulants, etc. So read to know what they have.
Boost your milk with Boost .
Try XS Energy Drink. This often works for me even when coffee doesn't. It contains no sugar and no carbs and there are even some caffeine-free flavors available. The energy comes from B vitamins, herbs and amino acids.
Unlike other popular energy drinks, the flavor is really good and it comes in more than one flavor.
If you'd like to try it, you can order it online at www.jewel.mychoices.biz
Ideally- fruits and nuts...
Realistically- Red Bull and Cadburys creme eggs!
