Try the following : do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.
Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Walk, I found the best thing was taking b long walk every day. Put the baby in a stroller and head out. When it gets cold, go to a local mall early ( before stores open so you won't shop) and walk it a couple of times. I had this same problem and found not eating after 7pm helps too. I had a baby and i had baby fat im small now then i was i ate half of everything walked and dont eat sweets or drink coke often i also eat lots of fruits when im still hungry dont over eat is a good way to!
Oh gawd, dont remind me. I basically lost all the baby weight that I had put on by exercising and eating more fruit and veg and drinking lots of water (which helped with breast feeding too). Hang in there, it takes a while, mind you if you lose weight to quickly, its not good for you and you do tend to put weight back on if you lose it too quickly.
I have not had kids so i don't know personally, but there are these exercise videos called walk away the pounds. I quit smoking and everyone says when u quit you gain weight. I did these videos 5 times a week and i actually lost 10 pounds when i quit. They are also really easy. The longest workout video i did was about an hour long and you don't need any other props, just a tv and dvd or vhs player. Good luck!
The only thing that worked for me is to excercise. you will have to join a gym. It's the only way. Dieting alone did not work for me untill I joined a gym. Then I lost 30lbs in one month and half!!

hello, have to keep doing you abe workouts (crunches and leg lifts), second do intervals on a tredmill if you have one.. 30 sec on the fastest speed you can go, then jog for a minute on a low speed, until you reach a total of 10mins.. third and most important, a low carb diet. thats the best diet for loosing weight. try a diet of a 150 carbs a day.. with that workout you will lose wegth rapidly..
