Answers:
A lot of people think they eat healthy, but when in all reality, their diet needs a lot of improvement in order for them to reach their fitness goals. Analyze what you're eating and see if you can improve on it. Make the commitment to do whatever it takes to eat healthier. As for the exercise, mix things up every 4-6 weeks to keep from getting bored with what you're doing and to keep your body from getting too comfortable with the same routine. Weight lifting is a great way to build muscle and burn fat, and interval training really ramps things up for you. Good luck!

if you work out and eat healty then that's it..

here's some tips

1. avoid fried food
2. avoid sugar
3. avoid flour and flour products (whole-wheat is an exeption but eaten moderately)
4. avoid alcohol
5. eat every 3 hours(small meals of course :) )

I have started a program that helps to get your metabolism working as best it can. The most important thing is never go too long without eating (no more than 3-5 five hours between meals). And what they say about eating breakfast is true. It jumpstarts your metabolism for the day. Protein with every meal and you still need to include some carbs and fat. Fibre is also important because it helps you to absorb your nutrients, eliminate things you don't need, and helps you feel more full.
If you are on a treadmill, lift small weights over your head repeatedly.
Its really really hard.
First of all it depends on how much you weigh and how much want to lose. If you are significantly overweight then you will have to calculate how many calories you consume every day and how many you burn everyday. Theres lots of calorie calculators online you can use for this. You will need to adjust your diet so that you are consuming less than you burn. For example, the average relaxed female burns about 2000 calories a day. Set a goal to consume about 1800 calories. The less you try to consume, the more difficult it will be.
If you go through the day fine and dont feel hungry that is a sign that your calorie intake is equal or more than what you're burning and you should re-evaluate what you're eating. There's no "easy" way to do it, to lose weight you must go through the day feeling somewhat uncomfortable.
Also, try to eat a big, balanced breakfast, and each meal should get smaller through out the day.
I suggest you eat often, but in less amount. rather than starving yourself and then binge. This is because the food you've eaten would be used by your body immediately before it gets stored like fats.

And, oh yes. I agree with ebaskys. eat more for breakfast, less for lunch and much lesser for dinner. We don't need much for the night when we are just resting, unless you work on a graveyard shift. However, eat enough so you won't have to wake up in the middle of the night to take your midnight snack. :)
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it).

Cut off the extras. Cheese on beans, salad, sandwiches. dressing on salads and sandwiches.

I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%
