10 Pounds?!?!?
Ok..I'm a size 7-8 and I'd like to get to about a 5-6, which is about 10 pounds I'm guessing, by Christmas.
I take aerobics I at school every other day, and the days I don't have it, I do aerobics at home, and 100 crunches every night.
I don't drink alot of sodas or eat alot of sweets.
What can I do to lose the 10 pounds by Christmas?!
And also..next semester I dont have aerobics any more..so how can I keep the weight I lose off without using alot of my school/study time?!
Thanks!!
=)
Answers:
Don't get overly concerned about your weight. Think more about being healthy and looking good.
Burn more calories than you eat. Take in about 2000 a day.
Cut your fat intake.
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it).
Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning).
Do 20 min of weight training three times a week.
Get a book or video on abdominal work. Remember that to make your stomach FLAT you need to PULL IT TO YOUR SPINE when you work it, when you sit, when you stand, all the time. This will pull your waist line in.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%
Be Blessed
no sugar. no dairy. no oils.
don't eat carbs with meat. don't eat fruit with anything else.
take aerobics at a gym when your class ends.
p.s. drink tons and tons of filtered water.
eat fruit every day.
eat 5 servings of veggies every day --put 'em in soup or sandwhiches or have a salad.
best of luck to ya
Kill the carbs to take off the extra 10 by Christmas.
weight watchers works really well. all you would have to do is figure out how many points to eat a day. I put a great site down (dwlz) that tells you how many points foods are.
I am a personal trainer/nutritionist for 16 years. This answer would take up a HUGE amount of space. Feel free to email me at bdyfit67@yahoo.com
Many blessings
next semester run 2 miles per day, 6 days per week.
You might add two running days a week now if your other workouts aren't strenuous.
Tell your parents so they make the right foods for you.
So what I tell everyone is is you need to eat regular meals and try and fight the urge to limit your eating. Breakfast is very important to get your metabolism kick started in the morning- the fact that you get hungrier by late morning if you eat breakfast than if you don't is a testament to that- and that is a good thing.
Drink lots of water- this will actually help you get rid of any excess water you are holding on to and it will also help organs, such as your liver and kidneys process things better and more efficiently.
I am not sure how old you are but adding in some weight lifting might also be helpful. Muscle helps you burn fat and it also increases your metabolism. But make sure you get proper instruction on how to lift weights if you have never done them before. And don't worry- weights won't make you look bigger. You may stay the same weight (muscle weighs more than fat) but with more muscle you could go down to your goal size.
stop eating
You can either increase your workouts or decrease the amount of calories to take in a day. If your taking in 2000 calories a day, then decrease it by 200 per day while keeping your normal workout routine. Gradually you will lose it. Make sure you don't take in less than 1500 calories a day. You need that much just so your body can function correctly. Make sure that what your'e eating is nutrient dense. Keeping a food journal helps! 60% of your calories should be carbs..20% protien..30% fat(such as nuts, avacados..) drink a lot of water..and make sure your goal isn't going to put you in the underweight category..check online for the correct proportions of your body..as for the workout routine changing.. get a tape and get up early to get it out of the way! I used to be over 200 pounds.never again!
first don´t even think about a diet

mii friend tried it the food was great and she lost 75 pounds
so you want to lose 10 pounds by Christmas and if my Fitnes for Life Class taught me right you could lose 1-2 pounds a week. increase your workout to lets say 5 times a week-and the amount of crunches you do one night is piece of cake. you have to watch what you eat-eat more healthy like fruits and vegetables and everything in moderation. do not go out to McDonald's every day but splurge once a week. you should be doing a min of 20 reps and a min of at least 4 sets on each target area for the abs. for cardio start with 30 min of cardio on an elliptical or the treadmill to get your heart pumping. also work your abs on wither a mat, a ball or however you like it as long as you are working your abs. my fave thing to do when i do crunches i to bring my iPod with me and put some fast music on, lie down onthe mat with feet up in the air at 45 degrees and start doing basic crunches-the slower you do them the better since it targets your area more. also, in the same position add a medicine ball between your legs lets say a 4 lbs. one to make the workout harder. try doing 20 reps/set. also, do reverse cunches as well since they target your mid section. for the legs/claves/thighs: try doing squats and lunges but wit weights to add resistance. for the bi's and tri's tri bench dips in sets of 15. drink lots of water, take the stairs vs. the elevator, park the car further away, look on the labels for things such as low fat foods, low sugar foods.Eat healthier, increase your work routine to 5 times a week, watch what you eat yet once in a while indulge in a cookie or some jello or something.eat in moderation!

You can lose weight quickly on the Cambridge Diet and keep it off. It's also very healthy and perfect for college students! Your body requires 50 essential nutrients every day and the Cambridge Food For Life formula provides these nutrients in optimum balance- each nutrient in the amount recommended by the National Academy of Sciences. Three servings per day provide 100% of the U.S. recommended daily requirements for balanced nutrition-all in 420 low fat, high fiber calories.
Research shows the average person would have to eat 1800 or more calories to get the same amount of nutrition contained in three servings of Cambridge. Therefore, whether you are counting calories, fat grams or seeking a low calorie alternative to a more balanced eating plan, Cambridge will work for you.
The best deal they have is the Food For Life 30 day Sampler Plan. It runs $144 and contains 90 meals, 7 nutrition bars, nutrition beverage packets (sugar free drinks) plus a recipe book, a mixer/tumber for making your products on the go and some really good literature. (comes with a money back guarantee) If you can't afford a 30 day supply there is also a 2 week Food For Life Sampler that comes with the same "extras" but you only get 2 weeks worth of product vs 30 days. It costs $89.33. Still, if you can't afford either of those you could always buy one container at a time. One container of 15 servings (5 days worth) is $22.65, however, I'd recommend the Sampler Plans because of all the extras. It's alot easier to stay on the diet if you have the additional materials and products to add to your diet. For you I'd say the Fast Start Diet would be best for maximum weight loss. See "The Diet" on website link below.
Best of luck to you!
