Im goin'.?

Im goin 2 the dentist on Saturday and i have a hole in my tooth,cuz the otha dentist drilled it too far down,and everytime it hurts,and they gon have to put a needle in my gum to num it so they can do wateva dey wann do wit my tooth,and im scared of needles,wat should i do? panick or calm down?

Just calm down- tensing up is only gonna make it worse. When I had that done, the dentist wiggled my cheek and I never even felt the needle go in. But, if you are really panicking, you can ask the dentist to prescribe you a mild sedative to take before the procedure.

go take a shot or smoke a bowl and go :P

Ok I have had some horrors myself. Ask for gas. It will take the edge off. Also you will laugh at this one but take an orange with you. The smell is calming.
Have the dentist explain it to you. Don't get worked up over it . Go first.

You don't have to have a needle to get your tooth worked on. Of course, it might hurt like hell without it. I pretty sure the needle won't hurt as much as whatever pain your putting up with from your tooth. Just as a side note: You might want to work on your writing skills.
It really isn't as bad as it sounds,a split second and it'll be over,so try staying calm,
check this..i haven't been to the dentist in 4-6 years..and my auntie owns her own office..am i scared? fcuk yeah..but you should be calm ; )
Perhaps you can go to a dentist where they give you Nitrous Oxide gas to calm you a bit.
just close your eyes so you wont see it. and itll be over. it doesnt hurt for me..it kinda makes it tickle\itch and then its numb. so just calm down and dont think about it
The needle isn't that bad. Here's some tips:

They should give some numbing stuff before the needle so it doesn't hurt as much.

It's just a small pinch. Like getting your ears pierced but not as bad. Just think of something else and hold a friend's hand or the edge of the chair. It only lastes a few seconds before it starts to feel numb.

It will taste a little bad.

You may need more numbing stuff from the needle if you're sensitive to pain. Ask the dentist if you can give him some sort of signal while he's drilling to let him know you need more.
