After two root canal in June, I'm having roof of the mouth pain. Is it another bad tooth or sinus or what?

I had been in the hospital in April for a week and vomited all week. The dentist said that ruined tooth #2 and thhoth # 15. After the root canal, I had them capped. The dentist thinks my new pain is sinus or vitamin defficency. Anyone with experience here, please help me. It really hurts to eat or drink on the left side of my mouth. Roof of the mouth, tongue, and lower teeth too!

Answers:
Sounds like an infection, especially with the comment that it hurts to eat on the left. Could be a different tooth that is infected, or it could be that the previous root canal is failing. It isn't uncommon for teeth to re-infect, ( recurrent infection) due to several reasons. I'm not a dentist, but I am an assistant who has been in the field for 15 yrs. It is possibly the sinuses, and that can feel like tooth pain on upper teeth because of the location of the roots of top teeth, but it really sounds like a tooth problem because you said the lower teeth bother you, too. Bottom line is- if you don't feel you are getting a straight answer from your current dentist, see another one for a second opinion. Feel better soon.

it could be that you have a nerve infeccion some times the whole side of the mouth hurts, go get a panoramic x ray so they can get a good look
Get a second opinion and a complete blood test it could be an infection. The blood test will reveal if there`s any infections. probably will need strong antibiotics.
