What is dental porcelain?

I saw some "craft porcelain" clay-like stuff in an art store the other day, and wondered if it might be the same thing. Weird.

dental porcelain is far stronger than the store bought craft variety. dental porcelain is basically solid chunks of hardened procelain, machined into teeth as replacements. the craft variety are more "recreational" in use so they are more fragile and delicate compared to the dental variety.
