Answers:
some ppl say it's a sign of Iron defeciency. You might want to check in with your dr for a routine round of blood work.

it makes you gay.
If the ice has a polar bear sitting on it, it can cause all sorts of problems.
i always chew ice and there is nothing wrong with me (i dont think)
My doctor said it was an iron deficiency too.
Its a sign of anemia, which is low blood iron
Iron.
The desire to chew on ice can be a sign of iron deficiency, it also if very bad for your teeth and can cause them to crack.
not a deficiency. just a bad habit. you can chip or crack a tooth easily with ice chewing. not recommended!
yes it is, you can get canker i know i came close to having it. not cancer canker or cankus, something like that, if it is a bad habit try to stay away from it or you will get canker.

CHEWING ICE DEFECIENCY!
lol
It can be caused by iron defeciency anemia. Pica is what u have it causese u to have weird cravings like clay soap dirt ect. Take iron supplements or see a doctor.
Yes, it is a condition called PICA. sp? Usually it is an iron decency. I did this when pregnant with all three of my children. It went away a week after having them. It is not good for your teeth but will not hurt you otherwise. You need to talk to the Dr. It can progress to cravings for clay, laundry detergent, sponges, dirt, etc.. if you start having these tendencies call the Dr. immediately.
Yeah.and I heard it was a sign of sexual frustration!
It usually doesn't do the ice much good!

Depends on the size of the ice. Big bits of ice are more likely to cause damage to the teeth.

It's a habit, don't believe everything you read on the internet!
I dont believe it is. HOWEVER it is a sign of anemia. Its called a Pica dont ask why people that might be anemic crave ice but they do.
