Is it a really bad sign if a tooth falls apart after being out of a mouth for a while?
Cause I lost a tooth recently, (A third one growing underneath!) and it just fell apart.

Thats normal, they dry out and become brittle. Pretty cool that you have a third one in there. That VERY rarely happens! It happens to little kids teeth all the time, ask your parents to see yours from when you were small, they crack and break very easily once they have been out of the mouth for a couple of days.
I'd venture to say YES..see your dentist..
