Is drinking coke or any soda very bad for your teeth?
Answers:
There are 13 teaspoons of sugar in a 375ml can of coke. Go on.measure it out and then consider eating it!! Switch to water. Your teeth and kidneys will thank you.
Sugar in the soda does the obvious damage.
Sodas stain your teeth.

heck yeah drink milk!

THE ONLY SODA THAT'S GOOD FOR YOUR TEETH IS BAKING SODA, LITTLE LADY! DON'T DRINK HIGH IN SUGAR DRINKS, NOT ONLY DO THE WEAR AWAY AT THE TEETH, SO DO THEY AT YOUR LIVER. YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ON DIALYSIS!
Yes, they can wear away the enamel on your teeth.
I really heard so.
Pop of any kind and chewing Ice are the two worst things for your teeth.
A dentist told me juices and sodas are worse than candy because of all the sugar...so yes.
Yes. You wouldn't believe the amount of sugar you are taking in.
It's extremely bad for your teeth. Not only does it have tons of sugar, it also contains acid. In high school, we did an experiment. A nail was placed into a 2 liter of Coke. Within two weeks all that was left was the head of the nail. If it will dissolve metal, it will dissolve your tooth enamel.
Regular soda is worse than diet soda for your teeth, but both are damaging.
You'll notice on the ingredients of Coke, one of them is phosphoric acid.that's what's used in commercial rust removers (Naval Jelly, etc). It's very acidic and attacks the tooth enamel.
On top of the acid level, sugar in non-diet sodas is food for all the bugs that naturally live in your mouth. The sugar is no big deal, but the waste from the bugs when they eat the sugar is acidic. This is why they pimp sugar-free chewing gum for after meals. The chewing action and extra saliva helps rinse away the left over sugars and the bug waste, therefore helping protect your teeth.
Yes, it has sugar in it
ANY soda pop, diet or regular, is going to eat away at your teeth because they are acidic.
If you are to drink soda pop, drink it at meal time all at once and do not sip on it all day. That will only increase the cavities. It's better to drink some water after drinking the soda, if at all possible or chew Trident gum.
drinking dark colas have phosporic acid is bad for your bones/teeth. If they are sugar colas, the sugar is also bad for your teeth, causing cavities. Clear diet sodas aren't as detrimental.
Forget teeth, it's downright murder on your bones (especially young people) and it'll make you fat quicker than anything. Stick with SoBee.
YES!. it can harm you teeth! stop drinking it before you regret it! trust me.
Drinking coke, soda, even fruit juices is all bad for your teeth if it sits against them to long.
Really anything with sugar can do some serious damage if you drink it too often and without brushing often enough before things like that settle in.
If you really feel like you can't get away from cokes, sodas, etc do your best to keep them away from your teeth. Using a straw and not drinking too much in one gulp can help with that and make sure to brush! =P
YES! my boyfriend drinks crap loads and i always tell him off.and now he has bad toothache.which is from drinking coke.because it is full of sugar which decays your teeth, and is also bad for your body
YES YES YES. I had no cavities until I I started drinking soda, and then suddenly i had seven of them. Diet Soda is better than normal soda obviously, but no soda at all is best
yes drinking soda is very bad for teeth, due to all the sugar in it. Diet is not any better, because of all the acid. It also does not matter weather you drink 5 a day or drink 1 slowly over time all day, that sugar is still on your teeth. Realisticy 1 or 2 soda's a day is not going to hurt you. But if you drink 4 or more and thats all you drink all day thats when it can have an effect. So if you are a constant soda drinker, just make sure you take time out during your day to brush some off.
yeah!! all kinds of sodas, even iced tea and be careful with coffee.all caffeine rich-drink are bad for your teeth, liver and stomach!
Yes yes yes yes yes! Not only is the sugar in these drinks bad for your teeth, they are usually also acidic. Drink water or milk!
If you don't know that by now, you probably have a cavity or 2.
Yes. Yes it is.
Coca-cola is horrible for your teeth. I spent thousands of dollars going to the dentist, filling teeth, then go back fill some more..finally gave up and got an upper plate..have switched to diet sodas with much less frequency (diet sodas are bad too because of the ph).also switched to nutrasweet for my coffee.
My dentist told me that if I was going to drink sodas and sugared beverages, it is best not to sip it all day (like I liked to do), but to just drink it, then drink or swish with water afterwards to rinse off all that gunk.
Save your teeth and go light on the sodas and sugary drinks!
