if I have crowns then can they put braces on them?

Been there, done that. The answer is yes you can have braces on crowns. I did.
My two back molars are half fake (skating accident) and I have braces. He said he will just have to take them off more carefully so he doesnt rip my tooth in half. Actually he will have to cut them off. Anyway ask your dentist and tell him everything, he will answer and explain better than anyone else.

definately yess..i was suppose to have braces on my front teeth due to loads of gaps on them but i refuse and asked them to root canal my teeth..n i hv crowns now soo definately ya
What exactly are crowns..like why do you need them? And how could a skating accident hurt your molars?
