i just had a starburst and i chewed it. apparently while chewing, my tooth was knocked out.?

i've been applying pressure for 35 minutes, and it is still bleeding.are there any other ways to stop the bleeding? the tooth is a pre molar

If you are sure that you are getting the pressure down against the gum where your tooth used to be, it can take a couple of hours to really stop the bleeding. Even a little trickle of blood will stain your saliva red so that it looks like you are still bleeding. Ice is good, as suggested above, but I'd just hold an ice pack on your face. If the gauze doesn't work after a couple of hours, wet a tea bag and squeeze out the water and then bite on that for half an hour. If that doesn't work, go to an emergency room.

Try ice. It should stop soon. Stay calm and keep your head above your heart. You'll be ok.
Pack the socket with gauze and continue to hold pressure. Then apply ice to the gauze. The cold will constrict the blood vessels and stop the bleeding. Continue to use cold and hold pressure for another 30 minutes, then check to see if it's still bleeding.
I've heard that you can store the tooth in water or milk, but it's essential that you get to the dentist as soon as possible. You might want to go to the ER or see if there's an emergency dentist in town.

the worst was when i lost a tooth on a caramel apple, the second was on one of those pre-wrapped fudge brownies. lol. rinse with cold water a few times, then just get a cotton swap or fold up a paper towel, put it in, and bite down on it. itll stop.

OH MY GOD! That sounds like it really hurts!! I would probably sue the Starburst company! Just kidding. What I would do is (if you have some kind of insurance), you could go to urgent care at the hospital if your tooth starts hurting , because you could have damaged the root..that's probably where all the blood is coming from.
