Whisky numbs the pain, swill in your mouth
CHEW SOME REDMAN.
MY HUSBAND SWEARS BY IT!!
The root treatment has probably failed, I would phone your local dental hospital / NHS 24 and explain the situation and they will probably give you antibiotics until your dentist is open and then they can decide what the best treatment is for you.
contact your out of hours doctor or nhs direct and they should be able to give you a number for an out of hours dentist or maybe give you strong pain killer. you poor thing i know what you are going through
Oh i sympathize, its awful. only thing i can think of is strong pain killers, and when the dentist gets back give him a swift kick in the *!!
I would try Ibuprofen if you can take it as it helps to reduce inflammation. If need be take paracetamol as well to help with the pain. You may need to take it regularly for a few days.
I sounds like the nerve in the tooth you had filled wasn't completely dead. Take pain killers regularly and ring the dentist as soon as they open for advice or check if you have an emergency dentist in your area who is open that can prescribe you some strong pain killers and amoxicillin (penicillin) antibiotics.
I had such bad pain with one of my teeth this time last year I was living on Ibuprofen and Paracetamol for 2 weeks, at the time I was 150 miles away from my dentist but my mum had an appointment and she spoke to him and he suggested I get to my doctor and ask for amoxicillin as the pain was likely to be due to infection, he warned me that the root canal he did at Christmas could get infected and be painful and if that happened I would need amoxicillin again.
I know how you feel of course you can try pain killers but they take time to work the only other option is if the pain is not too intense try something called oil of cloves its natural and believe me it smells and tastes bloody horrible but when rubbed on the tooth it does take away some of the pain all the best
take brufen and paracetamol together and get back to the dentist asap
Go to chemist and get co-codimal (also known as codeine), take ibruprofen as well. This was recommended to me by lady in Boots and defintely worked for me! Also rub some bonjela on it too, good luck!
Take diclofenac potassium & immidiately contact ur dentist as this can only be fixed by him, diclofenac will give u a temporary relief of pain for few hours. Go to ur dentist & get this thing sorted out in emergency.. he is reposible to do it for u & to cancel his other elctive appointments
