Does overbrushing of teeth lead to enamel loss?

Answers:
yeah it's right.

Yes, and so does brushing with a hard bristle brush. You should get a soft bristle and brush up and down, not side to side.
no
It can damage your gums if you are not careful. I hope you use a soft bristle brush.
I've heard that it can lead to enamel loss which in turn leads to other problems! Good Luck!
it can
Enamel is the hardest substance in your body. NO! it does not brush away, BUT your gums can be ruined from brushing them to hard and they need to be brushed with care. More of a massage on the gums and hard on the teeth. Add flossing to keep them healthy.
yes overbrushing leads damaging the teeth
I doubt it. I would avoid wire brushes.
I asked my dentist that same question because I brush my teeth about five times a day. He said use a soft bristled brush and don't brush your teeth hard, and you should be OK.
it may or may not depends on the type of brush or paste u use and the way u use it .
No I dont think so.. Brush ur teeth twice daily and after every meal do gargles using mouthwash or u can do it with water only.. Gud Luck
yes ritu it may lead to loss of enamel
but its very rare coz the tooth brushes r no that much harsh u know if u eat citrus fruits or bite a lime then also u loose enamel infact every day u loose it but u develop a new layewr without ur own knowledge
Yes it does, And it'll be very painfull and like HELL when you cannot eat whatever you want!!
Yes. Use a soft toothbrush.
No. I work for an orthodontist and I asked him that very same question when I first started and he said no. So, over brushing will not lead to enamel loss.
overbrushing and hard brushing can seriously damage your enamel and it cant be treated later on so its better to use a soft bristle tooth brush.
yes ,Dentists and common sense also tell the same .The tooth does not develop lost enamel. So it is necessary to conserve it . It shous not be rubbed hard and worne out .
It happens over a long time with improper brushing technique.
Use a soft bristle brush or a brush which suits your type of teeth.
Enamel is the hardest but at the junction of enamel n cementum (which covers the root) is the week part where abrasion occurs
tooth has different layers ,outer hardest enamel, inner less hardened dentine, towrds gums u have cementum,if u over brush with, that is using wrong technique and hard brishled brush whare it is not indicated, then ther are chances that errosion of cemintoenamel junction near the gum margin might take place ,leading subseqently loss of dentin and then the enamel covering the dentin, alwayes apply less pressure, use proper tech ,
