Can too much TOPICAL (not fluoride from tap water) fluoride be harmful?

Yes..

Floride can be overdosed- if you are concerned you may have been exposed to too much- read the labels on what you were using how frequently etc and call poision control with the information ready. They can advise you if you may have been exposed to too much and offer treatment options or who to contact for help.
Well., I think you don´t have to call the poison control ;)
But yes, too much of it is harmful, if it gets into your organism by swallowing. But you didn´t eat two tubes of toothpaste or fluoride gel, did you? Then don´t worry.
Just follow the advice on the labels then nothing can happen.
