My son chipped off half of his front upper tooth.?

It's shaped like a triangle with the point on the bottom like a vampire. He starts middle school in 3 days. Will the dentist be able to fix it in 1 day.?

I knocked half of my one front tooth off at work and was able to get a bonding, A couple of hours in and out, it lasted several years, it would depend I guess on how close the break is to the nerve..they might pull it and put in a post, but that would take more than a day..

if the dentist isnt busy i think my brother and i were wrestleing and he chipped his tooth i felt horrible but it doesnt really matter if his tooth is chipped but the dentist may be able to fix it not sure i am not a dentist.
these days cosmetic dentistry does wonders.but if that can't be used he can get a crown, and that will take a little longer. And, with any professional it takes weeks before you can get in to see your dentist.
Get it pulled. It is only a baby tooth. Probably will cause him harm if left that way.
Yea, that's easy, I've chipped my front tooth several times. Shouldn't cost too much more than a filling or two.

Repair to the tooth can be started but I don't think it can be completed but it depends greatly on how much tooth has been lost. If you recovered the broken pieces, take them with you if the event that his dentist can still use them. Otherwise, don't worry, repair can still be done. My cousin had this happen. The dentist just glued a fake tooth right to his to make it even. Dont know how but this is what he said.
I had this problem with both my front two teeth and the dentist fixed it straight away, he built it back up with cement like stuff but it wasnt a crown - too expensive. Then my daughter headbutted me accidently and it smashed again so the dentist rebuilt it again. It cost me about £50 each one privately. See if you can get him an emergency appointment tell them the tooth is sensitive and he is in pain.
